Phil Ivey has been referred to as the number one poker player in the world by quite a few of the top professionals. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning 1. His grandpa introduced him to penny-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wished to pickup every little thing he possibly could about the game. Ivey credits his success to hard work and an undying love for the game of poker. He states that he’s learning every single day and is very abashed about his achievements. Phil admits to making errors every single game of poker and constantly aspires to get better.

Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some big-time tournaments, he prefers winning cash games on a normal basis.
